July Jamboree

We want to thank all who donated goodies for our bake sale and all those who helped with their time. We earned about $288.00!! Some requests that were made were: Peanut Brittle and write on your goodies if they contain nuts or not for people who are allergic.

We arrived at Main Street at 4:00, we were told the Jamboree started at 5:00. When we got there, Main Street was packed and we had one lane of Main Street to park R2 and R3. After some talking to the police, they moved a couple of police cars so we could park the trucks. We still didn't have much room. Next year we need to show up at about 3:00.

We don't think as many people came to see the Fire trucks because we didn't have the Life Safety Trailer and some kids even asked where it was. But it was a good turn out and some of the guys even got to leave on an accident on the mountain.

Whoever brought the peanutbutter bars (there were 2 different kinds) were very, very yummy and we all want the recipe.
